Tyler Narducci does $40k/month in affiliate revenue. Here’s his framework for earning $4k/month with just 5k subscribers.

We officially hosted the first guest in our private Discord community for creators. We brought in Tyler Narducci, founder of Video Creator Academy, who does $40k/mo through affiliate revenue. Here’s what he shared:
Most creators think affiliate revenue requires a massive audience. Tyler’s experience proves otherwise.
1. Pick the right niche. Affiliate income scales with purchase intent. Finance, software, education, and health niches typically pay more per conversion than entertainment or lifestyle.
2. Choose high-ticket programs. A $500 affiliate commission requires far fewer conversions than a $5 one. Tyler focuses on software and courses with recurring commissions.
3. Build trust before promoting. His audience trusts his recommendations because he only promotes tools he personally uses. Authentic reviews convert 3–5x better than scripted ads.
4. Create content around buying decisions. “Best [tool] for [use case]” and “[tool A] vs [tool B]” videos capture high-intent searchers. These videos keep earning for years.
5. Email list + YouTube = compounding income. Tyler drives YouTube viewers to his email list, then nurtures with follow-up sequences that promote affiliate offers. His email list generates $15k–$20k/mo on its own.
• Put affiliate links in pinned comments, video descriptions, and email CTAs
• Create comparison content (X vs Y) — this captures buyers already mid-decision
• Use tracking links to know which content converts best
• Reinvest a portion of affiliate revenue into paid ads to amplify top-converting content
You don’t need 100k subscribers to make serious affiliate income. You need the right niche, high-paying programs, trusted content, and a system to capture and nurture leads. Tyler’s proof that 5k engaged subscribers can outperform 500k passive ones.
